Favorite Thanksgiving Traditions

Thanksgiving is not only a time to give thanks for the sunshine in your life, but also it is a great time to spend with friends and family. We have some fun Thanksgiving traditions that any family or friends can celebrate.

The Thankful Guessing Game - This is a great fun way to say what you are thankful for but also it is a good laugh for all who play. Everyone writes down what they are thankful for on a piece of paper. Then read outloud what everyone wrote down and each person then has to guess who wrote what. Sometimes people write silly stuff or sentimental thanks.

Break the Wishbone - After you are done eating have two people pull the sides of the wishbone while making their Thanksgiving wish. It is a great tradition to do with little ones that want to be involved.

Playing games - After your tummies are full play lots of board games as a family. This allows for for you to spend some quality time together and enjoy each other's company. Play games that the whole family can enjoy like catch phrase or clue or apples to apples.

"Blessed" Hand Stamped Cuff Bracelet

Picking Names for Gift Exchange - If you have a big family it is a great tradition to draw names for a sibling gift exchange. That way you can spend on one thoughtful gift instead of so many. It makes for a special gift exchange on Christmas day. If you are needing personalized gifts this season, we got your covered.

Decorating for Christmas -  Start decorating for Christmas right away. Fill your house with Christmas cheer, we say the sooner the better. It gives you more time to stare at your beautiful tree longer too and to take in such a festive holiday.

Leftover Lunches - One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is the leftovers. Make delicious lunches or sandwiches with the turkey meat and leftover sides.

"Grace upon Grace upon Grace" stamped bracelet

Black Friday Shopping - It is the perfect time to cross those gift items off your list. Start your shopping early and get those gift items at a great price. Sunshine Native is offering 40% off on all items in our shop + free shipping Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.

Keeping with the Thanksgiving theme, we are so grateful that we get to bring sunshine to so many amazing people. Thank you to all of you. We hope you have fun with your Thanksgiving traditions this year.
